Sven Libaek

b. Sven-Erik Libaek, 20 Sept 1938, Norway. Early in his profession, Libaek appeared in a few movies, including Aldri Annet Enn Bråk (1954) and Et Øye På Hver Finger (1961). Between these he also made an appearance in Windjammer: The Voyage FROM THE Christian Radich, a 127-minute documentary that wanted to publicize Cinemiracle like a rival with Cinerama, using Eastmancolor and seven-track Cinerama audio. With this film, Libaek was billed as Cadet No. 35. Later on, he made up music for movies such as Trip A White Equine (1968), The Arranged (1970), Nickel Queen aka Ghost City Millionairess (1971), and in addition scored some tv shows, among that have been the long-running detective series Boney (1972), and Internal Space (1974). Within the 80s, Libaek was music co-ordinator for THE ENTIRE YEAR Of Living Dangerously (1982) and constructed for more tv shows, including The Negotiation (1983) and Scooby-Doo AS WELL AS THE Hesitant Werewolf (1988), also performing the orchestra for the last mentioned, the mini-series Joe Wilson (1988) and Hägar The Horrible (1989). In 1997, Libaek supplied the voice-over narration for the documentary in regards to the Cinemiracle task, Chastity Truth And Kinopanorama (1997).
