Suzanne Kraft

Suzanne Kraft may be the single moniker of Los Angeles-based manufacturer and DJ Diego Herrera, who’s also an associate of neo-disco group Pharaohs. As the 12″ EPs created beneath the Kraft moniker have a tendency to become lush, dancefloor-centric deep home and disco, his full-lengths are even more experimental, incorporating acoustic guitars and drifting from rhythmic constructions. Kraft’s debut recording, Missum, was presented with a restricted CD-R launch on Discotheque Information this year 2010. Disco-influenced EP Green Adobe flash appeared on Operating Back 2011, accompanied by Horoscope on ADULTS in 2012. Pursuing Kraft remixes for performers including Tomas Barfod as well as the Cyclist, Missum was reissued by Operating Back 2014, and Sound in My Mind released his downtempo EP Songs for Overall performance the same 12 months. In 2015, Melody as Truth released Kraft’s second full-length, Chat from your home, which continuing the meditative classical guitar design of Missum while including some songs with downtempo digital beats. He came back to even more uptempo club-focused materials with the launch of 2016’s DJ Security EP on Kitjen.
