The original vocal noises of Ireland are fused with today’s urban sensibility by Dublin-born and New York-based vocalist Susan McKeown (pronounced “mick-yone”). Associated with her music group, the Chanting Home, McKeown’s alto vocals possess inspired evaluations to June Tabor, Chrissie Hynde, Sarah McLachlan, Sophistication Slick, and Sandy Denny.
