Survival Knife

Olympia, Washington rock-band Survival Knife had been formed in 2011 by picture luminaries Justin Trosper and Brandt Sandeno, both founding people of ’90s angular punk champions Unwound, aswell while bassist Meg Cunningham and onetime European Hymn member Kris Cunningham on drums. Nearing their audio with a far more muscular and metallic advantage than anything using their decidedly indie past, the quartet started playing displays locally. Their debut recordings arrived by means of 7″s on famous Pacific Northwestern indie brands Kill Rock Celebrities and Sub Play 2013, plus they adopted with full-length recording Loose Power in 2014. The music group toured regionally and in addition backed Modest Mouse to get a West Coast calf of a nationwide tour in Apr of 2013.
