The London-based trio SuperSwamis were formed in 2006 by George Christie, Govin Murugachandran, and Rishi Wadhera. Immediately after conference, the group users began tinkering with combining their collective musical affects and strike upon a trip-hop mixture of laid-back beats overlaid with Asian music, especially that of the Indian subcontinent. Their particular sound and stage displays (a variety of sample-based paths and live shows) caught the interest of several music critics and BBC radio personalities, resulting in an appearance on the Glastonbury Celebration in 2008.
