Superscope

A fashion of weighty guitar riffs and power-pop harmonies became an integral part of Superscope’s sound upon their formation in 1994. Merging the chemistry of Shane Bolton (drums), Kevin Borruso (acoustic guitar/vocals), and Gerry McAvoy (bass), Citadel Information first captured the trio’s pop-metal cross on the 1995 debut of Generally Electric powered. But after adding to two Bomp Record compilations in 1996 — Windmill Pop AT THE TOP and Windmill Giggle When you Can — Superscope required a six month hiatus while playing beneath the moniker of Reuben Kinkaide. Pursuing their come back in 1997, Rotating Top Records adopted with the launch from the 1997 EP Popping Crease.
