Superbees

The LA foursome the Superbees electrify vintage garage grooves using the energy of Iggy Pop, the swagger from the Stones, as well as the raucous attack of Thee Hypnotics. Vocalist and guitarist Dave Wayne formed the music group around 1998 with bassist Dat Ngo, as well as the duo quickly required its MC5-affected show on the highway, in addition to releasing the solitary Got This Sense. Ultimately the group finished its lineup with guitarist Scott Carlson and drummer Johnny Sleeper. In August of 2000, the Superbees released a self-titled EP. Their debut full-length, Large Quantity — a fulfilling group of stage-burning rock and roll — premiered on Acetate Information in Sept of 2002. THE VERY BEST of the Stones EP followed this year 2010.
