Super Heavy Goat Ass

Selecting their name on the lark, carrying out a display promoter’s misprinting (and a substantial amount of alcohol), stoner rockers Super Heavy Goat Ass (originally NO2) had been created in 1999, first surviving in Lubbock before relocating to Austin, TX. There vocalist/guitarist Russell Abbott, guitarist Derek Halfmann, and drummer Tim Harm spent a while obtaining their proverbial sh*t collectively, and briefly caused Dixie Witch bassist Curt Christenson. Pursuing his permanent substitute by Brent Boepple, Super Large Goat Ass documented a self-titled debut in 2002, a break up LP with fellow Texans Southern Weapon Tradition in 2003 (actually borrowing their drummer Trent Parker for the event), and another full-length entitled 60,000 Years for regional Arclight Information in 2005.
