Sunshine Skiffle Band

Among a bare couple of bands from the ’90s creating skiffle or jug music group music, Sunlight Skiffle Music group formed in Washington around several old-timey and basic jazz lovers including Gil Carter (rhumba package), Henry Stinson (harmonica/kazoo), Don Rouse (clarinet), Tom Layton (washboard), Dan Cassidy (fiddle), and Wes Butts (gutbucket). The group performed around the spot through the 1980s and early ’90s, producing their only broadly released record (Defeat It, Blow It, Strum It, Hum It!) for Rounder in 1992.
