Sunrise Skater Children is a fictional Baltimore, Maryland pop-punk music group created by YouTube comedian Jarrod Alonge. Utilizing sharp, witty laughter that parodied the Warped Tour picture, Alonge enlisted a team of music artists — frequently from rings he was poking fun at — to greatly help with Sunrise Skater Children’ tracks. The band 1st made an appearance on Alonge’s 2015 debut humor album, Defeating a Dead Equine, a “compilation” that presented fictional rings that parodied metalcore, screamo, emo, and additional subgenres of punk and metallic. Sunrise Skater Children’ debut LP, Friendville, premiered in early 2016.
