Sunrise Skater Kids

Sunrise Skater Children is a fictional Baltimore, Maryland pop-punk music group created by YouTube comedian Jarrod Alonge. Utilizing sharp, witty laughter that parodied the Warped Tour picture, Alonge enlisted a team of music artists — frequently from rings he was poking fun at — to greatly help with Sunrise Skater Children’ tracks. The band 1st made an appearance on Alonge’s 2015 debut humor album, Defeating a Dead Equine, a “compilation” that presented fictional rings that parodied metalcore, screamo, emo, and additional subgenres of punk and metallic. Sunrise Skater Children’ debut LP, Friendville, premiered in early 2016. It included previously released songs from the Lifeless Horse recording, along with fresh tracks just like the interpersonal justice takedown “Result in Warning” as well as the emo undertake millennial Celebrity Wars villain “Rylo Ken.” Mimicking rings like blink-182, Great Charlotte, NOFX, Neck Deep, All Period Low, Green Day time, and All-American Rejects, Sunrise Skater Children’ songs worried topics like mosh pit etiquette (“Pit Warrior”), band-fan relationships (“Friendville”), and satirical millennial observations (“First Globe Tragedy”).
