Sunflower Bean

Marked by two vocalists who often consider becomes within a song, Sunflower Bean can be an indie pop trio away of Brooklyn. Shaped in August 2013 with vocalist/guitarist Nick Kivlen, vocalist/bassist Julia Cumming, and drummer Jacob Faber — all teens at that time — they quickly gained attention for his or her alternately rock-edged and dreamy acoustic guitar tunes, and had been invited to open up on trips for famous brands DIIV as well as the Vaccines starting soon after their 1st EP, Display Me Your Seven Secrets, found its way to October 2015. Made by Matthew Molnar, previously of indie pop group Close friends, Sunflower Bean’s debut LP, Human being Ceremony, was released by Extra fat Possum in early 2016.
