Like a quantity of acts that surfaced in ’09 2009 and 2010 — a few of them even sporting names inspired by surf culture (think Best Coast and Beach Fossils) — the Sundelles appear to be they came straight from the beach. Using their shambling, reverb-kissed, Brian Wilson-influenced pop music, the Sundelles sport a appear that combines C-86 with browse rock and roll. The group created in 2008, when frontman Sam Sundos relocated to NEW YORK. Sundos teamed up along with his buddies Davey Sarantos and Trevor McLoughlin, dubbed the trio the Sundelles, and started playing a string of gigs in N.Con.C. The recently fledged group documented and self-released its debut 7″ solitary, Dead Youth, this year 2010. The Sundelles documented their debut full-length that same 12 months. Made by Pere Ubu’s Tony Maimone, Georgia Swan premiered in 2011.
