Philadelphia, PA’s dreamy electronic pop action Sunlight Airway was the task of Jon Barthmus, previously from the A-Sides. In early stages, the group also included Barthmus’ A-Sides bandmate, drummer Patrick Marsceill. The band’s audio melds even, glistening consumer electronics, ethereal sonic textures, and indie pop/rock and roll dynamics and melodies. Sunlight Airway’s initial EP, Oh, Naoko, was released being a giveaway in middle-2010, as well as the action subsequently do remixes for Delorean, Right here We Move Magic, the 100 in the Hands, and Caribou. The debut full-length, Nocturne of Exploded Crystal Chandelier, premiered by Deceased Oceans in nov the same season. Sun Airway came back in 2011 using the Crazy Palms one, which signaled a far more streamlined but also even more massive sound. Motivated with the lavishness of Versailles as well as the composing of Andre Breton, Sunlight Airway’s second record Soft Fall found its way to October 2012.
