Suit of Lights

Suit of Lighting are an indie rock and roll manifestation headed by vocalist/songwriter Joe Darone, formerly of Fiendz as well as the Rosenbergs; the music group takes affects from Cursive to Elvis Costello to generate music that’s similar parts shimmering pop and dark, angular rock and roll. Darone collaborated with different music artists for the band’s self-titled debut, including manufacturer Arun Venkatesh, guitarists Steve Pedulla and John Underwood, bassist Evan Silverman, drummer Roy Truck Tassel, and trumpeter/trombonist Jamie Egan — included in this current and previous members of rings like Thursday, Capture 22, the Rosenbergs, and Streetlight Manifesto. The extremely personal record, a tribute to Darone’s dad that explored the idea of death, premiered in the summertime of 2005 through Going to Hours to rave evaluations.
