Suicide City

As N.Con.C. rap-metal organization Biohazard’s profession was winding down, guitarist/vocalist Billy Graziadei known as up vocalist Karl Bernholtz (ex-Groovenics) in past due 2004 to initiate what would become Suicide Town. Another previous Groovenic, guitarist AJ Marchetta, was quickly brought on table along with ex-Kittie bassist Jennifer Arroyo, the second option of whom Graziadei experienced vowed to maintain a music group with after conference her while touring with Biohazard. The ultimate addition of drummer Danny Lamagna (around the suggestion of Sworn Foe) finished the Brooklyn-based quintet, though theoretically, the music group didn’t really obtain severe until 2005, after Graziadei and Arroyo had been officially finished with their earlier rings. A five-song demonstration was documented early that 12 months; originally dubbed Provide Me Your Pity, it had been later renamed Not really My 12 months and released mainly because their debut EP in Apr. Crafting dark and volatile punk with prominent metallic leanings, goth theatrics, and screamo-worthy shrieks, their music asserted affects just like the Misfits, Dark Sabbath, Joy Department, and the Remedy. Suicide Town first toured with Otep in summer time 2005 before striking the complete U.S. as openers for Mindless Self Indulgence. Their specifically intense and strenuous live show, in conjunction with an innate D.We.Y. function ethic, were able to offer over 4,000 copies of their EP without the label or distribution help. Suicide Town continued to control attention while on the highway with Taking Back again Sunday in springtime 2006 before becoming a member of up with GWAR that August.
