Sui Generis

Argentinean folk-rock music group Sui Generis was shaped in the first ’70s by singer, guitarist, and keyboardist Charly García and singer/instrumentalist Nito Mestre, who met even though being students. Their 1st record, known as Vida, premiered in 1972, accompanied by 1973’s Confesiones de Invierno. The next 12 months, bassist Rinaldo Rafanelli and drummer Juan Rodríguez became a member of the act, quickly documenting Pequeñas Anécdotas Sobre Todas las Instituciones. Because of inner discrepancies, the group made a decision to perform going back period at Buenos Aires’ Luna Recreation area on Sept 5, 1975. That farewell concert was documented and later released as Adiós A Sui Generis, a dual recording and documentary regarded as a significant event within the Latin rock and roll history. The music group reunited in 1980 to try out displays in Montevideo, Uruguay, and Santiago de Chile. In the entire year 2000, Sui Generis came back with Sinfonía Em virtude de Adolescentes and an American tour.
