This highly touted vocalist/guitarist originally comes from Ottawa, Canada, although her home base shifted to Austin, TX, when she signed with Antone’s Records and cut her debut set, Teen Girl Blues, in 1992 (an encore, With out a Warning, quickly followed). When she was a kid in Ottawa, Foley paid attention to rock and roll & move and blues-rock groupings like the Moving Rocks.
