Located in Waterbury, Connecticut, Unexpected Impact presented Octavio Deleon, Ira Wilkes, George Leary, Harold Bush, and Edward Cauthen. Deleon was with Following the Storm as well as the Johnnie Wilder Music group (in Germany), the second option which became Heatwave. He also do a stint with Expenses Baker’s Five Satins. Wilkes caused Bloodstone; Leary sang with Topaz and Wilbert Hart’s Delfonics; Bush sang using the Gondoleres; and Cauthen was using the Melofunk, Inc. as well as the Directions. The mellow, soulful group released Pure Enthusiasm, a buttery collection ideal for red-light special offers.
