Suckle

After fronting the seminal Brit-pop duo from the Vaselines for several years, guitarist Frances McKee shifted in 1997 to start out Suckle. Along with co-founder/vocalist Marie McKee, the entire lineup of Vicky Morton (bass), Elanor Taylor (flute/keyboards), Kenny McEwan (drums), and Brian McEwan (acoustic guitar) resolved in later on that yr before the launch of their self-titled debut EP. Because they induced a tranquility of melancholy indie pop with their indigenous of Scotland, Cleansing Records implemented their initial 7″ using the Hormonal Secretions EP that same calendar year. By 1998, Suckle agreed upon to Chemikal Underground Information who ultimately funded their initial self-titled full-length.
