After recording mainly because Pentax and Nice Reinhard for the Cologne-based Profan label, Reinhard Voigt released his method of ambient hearing music around the esteemed Mille Plateaux mainly because Sturm. From early 1999 using the launch of his 1st Sturm recording, Voigt impressed listeners familiar with the design of beat-filled songs he previously released on Profan.
