Formed in LA in 2005 by guitarist Tom Morello (Trend Against the device, Audioslave, Nightwatchman) and rapper Shoes Riley (the Coup), Road Sweeper Social Golf club crafts self-described “revolutionary get together jams” steeped in funk, rock, hip-hop and straight-up blue-collar rock and roll & move that reveal the duo’s progressive political sights. The band’s eponymous debut recording premiered on WEA in early 2009.
