Developing up in Oxon Hill, MD, just outdoors Washington, D.C., Dwayne Henry was initially released to hip-hop through his cousin, who, on his appointments from Queens, would play him tapes of the favorite party jams. Influenced by these, and by performers like Slick Rick as well as the Juice Team, Henry started to consider his 1st measures toward rapping when he performed inside a high-school skill show and quickly was carrying out at night clubs both in D.C. and near his college or university in Rochester, NY. Acquiring the name Surprise the Unstable (though he also occasionally went under Calm Surprise), he released his debut solitary, MCs become Killin’ Me, in 1997.
