Stone

Not to end up being confused with the 1980s NY band Rock or the 1990s hip-hop maker Stone, this Rock can be an earthy trio focusing on roots rock and roll, blues-rock and pop-rock. The trio was created in 1996, when vocalist/guitarist Brad Wilson met up with electrical bassist Brian Adam and drummer J.J. Garcia. Stone’s debut record, Someplace in L.A., arrived on Cherokee in 1998, as well as the CD’s initial one, “Teaser,” was noticed in movie director John Carpenter’s horror film Vampires. Stone’s second record, Here Before, premiered on SX3 Music in 1999.
