Stone Fury

Shifting from Hamburg, Germany, to LA, USA, in 1983, vocalist Lenny Wolf teamed up with Bruce Gowdy (guitar) to create Rock Fury. Adding Rick Wilson (bass) and Jody Cortez (drums), they agreed upon to MCA Information and debuted the next year with Uses up Like A Superstar. The album provided traditional blues-based hard rock and roll, similar in structure to Led Zeppelin. Wolf’s vocals had been modelled very carefully on Robert Place’s, both in pitch and phrasing, which provoked accusations of imitation. Allow Them Chat was even more restrained and utilized a greater usage of melody and atmospherics. Struggling to make a discovery in america, Wolf returned to Germany and afterwards formed Kingdom Seriously his go back to the united states in 1987. Gowdy, for the time being, formed Globe Trade.
