Stix & Stoned

Among the Detroit area’s longest-lived pub rings, Stix & Stoned was led by vocalist/guitarist Bobby Lewis, a onetime person in community ’60s favorites the Spirit Survivors. He created Stix & Stoned through the early ’70s to provide as the long term house band in the Dearborn pub Your Moustache, later on documenting the group’s lone solitary, “The Rouge Herb Blues.” Despite countless lineup adjustments — drummer and co-founder Marcus Terry loved an extended tenure than anyone beyond Lewis himself — the group hung collectively for several years before implementing the name Bobby Lewis & the Cracker Jack port Band, continuing to try out the Motor Town golf club circuit well in to the 1990s.
