Stigmata

New York steel device Stigmata was shaped in 1989 by singer Bob Riley, guitarist Mike Maney, and bassist Dan Walsh, most of whom previously teamed within the short-lived Cranial Mistreatment. Lineup changes frequently plagued the group throughout their formative years, and following the conclusion of their initial two albums, The Contacting of the Simply as well as the Heart Develops Harder, second guitarist Jason Sunkes authorized on in past due 1992, with drummer Jason Bittner recruited in early 1994. Following a third Stigmata LP, Hymns for an Unfamiliar God, Maney remaining the group, which continuing on like a four-piece. Bassist Friend Armstrong changed Walsh for the Redemption Tunes EP, and in 1997 Bittner continued a keep of lack to tour with Problems. Following a live recording, Pain DOES NOT HAVE ANY Limitations, both Maney and Bittner came back to Stigmata for 2000’s Perform Unto Others…
