A singer/songwriter having a warm tenor croon, vocalist Steven Web page is best referred to as a founding person in the Canadian pop/rock and roll group the Barenaked Women. Given birth to in Ontario, Web page required piano lessons as a kid and sang inside a youngsters choir. By his teenagers, he previously struck up a songwriting collaboration with schoolmate Ed Robertson that ultimately led to the forming of adult option music group the Barenaked Women. From 1992 to 2009, Web page shared business lead vocal responsibilities with Robertson within the Barenaked Women, and wrote or co-wrote many tunes on such albums as 1992’s Gordon, 1996’s Rock and roll Spectacle, 1998’s Stunt, 2000’s Maroon, 2003’s Everything to Everyone, and 2007’s Barenaked Women Are Men. Web page also appeared within the band’s 2008 children’s pop recording Snacktime!, even though also that same 12 months, Page’s very much publicized arrest for cocaine ownership resulted in the Barenaked Women canceling many tour dates. Even though charges were later on decreased to misdemeanors, Web page announced he was departing the group in ’09 2009. After parting methods with the music group, Web page kept himself occupied with several tasks, including composing and carrying out the music for the stage creation Bartholomew Good: A Humor in the brand new Globe, which premiered in the Stratford Shakespeare Event in the summertime of 2009.
