Steve Whitney Band

This Euro-rock group was formed in 1975 by Chrigi Wiedemeier (guitar), Rolf Schlup (bass), Mick Hudson (vocals), Andy Lindsay (guitar) and Pete Leeman (drums) – with zero sign of the Steve Whitney. They debuted in 1980 with Popular Range, an overtly industrial melodic rock recording that lacked conviction. Gary Steimer and Rob Seales changed Leeman and Lindsay, respectively, on Night time Fighting, which designated a distinct modification in path. This noticed them drop the poppy harmonies and change to blues-based hard rock and roll in the traditional AC/DC mould. Mick Hudson after that quit and the rest of the four members continuing as Sergeant.
