Pianist Steve Swayne recorded Preludes by Chopin, Faure and Gershwin, his 1997 debut LP, while even now a music pupil at UC Berkeley, where he was the recepient of the coveted Alfred Hertz Functionality Fellowship. Swayne’s follow-up, the comedic Vacation Twists, appeared afterwards that same calendar year.
