Steve Noble

b. 16 March 1960, Streatley, Berkshire, Britain. Noble studied using the Nigerian master-drummer Elkan Ogunde. His initial professional engagement was using the avant garde jazz-pop group, Rip Rig And Anxiety, touring Britain and European countries and playing on I Am Cool (1982) and Attitude (1983). His accuracy and invention being a percussionist managed to get organic for him to gravitate towards free of charge improvisation. In 1985 he made an appearance on the Thessalonika Jazz Celebration with Derek Bailey and afterwards took component in the London Business Weeks of 1987, 1989 and 1990. In 1987 he toured Holland with Tristan Honsinger. In the past due 80s, he was area of the Alan Wilkinson Trio and an associate of Kahondo Design. A long-standing relationship with pianist Alex Maguire created countless gigs and Live At Oscars. Noble, along with Louis Moholo, supplied percussion for Maguire’s Kitty O’ Nine Tails in 1989. He in addition has composed music for many foreign language movies, and in 1997 released his own TABLE TENNIS Productions. Noble’s lightning replies, wit and catholic flavor make him an extremely popular musician.
