Steve Burns

Before he was referred to as the buddy towards the strategizing blue dog on Blue’s Clues, singer/songwriter Steve Melts away was a punk rock kid. His father produced him a gadget guitar being a wee lad and following that, Melts away discovered himself tinkering around with music while understanding his acting abilities in the neighborhood movie theater. In 1995, he arrived an audition to get a children’s present on Nickelodeon’s Nick Jr. Six years and many music collections afterwards, Melts away wanted a big change. He visited college and started writing songs. An opportunity meeting with manufacturer Dave Fridmann (Mogwai, Luna) resulted in a joint cooperation with Flaming Lip area drummer Steve Drozd in 2002. The trio done Melts away’ quirky indie rock and roll sound and developed Tracks for Dustmites, which made an appearance on PIAS America in summertime 2003.
