Probably one of the most successful hip-hop functions to emerge from THE UK, Stereo system MC’s formed in London in 1985, when rapper Rob B. (created Rob Birch) and DJ/maker the top (Nick Hallam) created the Gee Road label as a way of advertising their music. Gee Road soon authorized a distribution cope with the brand new York-based 4th & Broadway label, and some singles adopted before Stereo system MC’s’ debut recording, 33-45-78, surfaced in 1989.
