Stephen Simmonds

Swedish singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and kid of the Jamaica-born musician, Stephen Simmonds began using piano at an extremely early age. He became involved with popular music mainly influenced with the American even soul, root base reggae from Jamaica, and afterwards by choice pop/rock and roll. After teaming up along with his friend and musician Peter Catries, Stephen Simmonds began focusing on a demonstration that resulted in his Western european debut. Alone premiered in 1997 and highlighted the hit one and regional music-award earning “Tears Never Dry out.” That same record was re-released within the U.S. by Concern Records as Heart Stories, including two extra tracks “I CANNOT DO THIS,” made by Soulshock, and “EASILY Was Your Guy.”
