Stephen Dees

An extremely respected session participant, Stephen Dees has played bass and sung for Hall & Oates, Tony Carey, Pat Travers, and Todd Rundgren. Documenting his debut single record, Hip Shot, made by Daryl Hall, in 1977, he became a member of with ex-Santana and Trip drummer Michael Shrieve to create Novo Combo in the first ’80s. The group’s albums — Novo Combo, released in 1981, and Computer animation Era, released a calendar year afterwards — included two strikes, “Up Periscope” and “Town Bound,” co-written with Desmond Kid, and a high Five MTV video, “Computer animation Era.” In 1990 and 1991, he toured with Lonesome Dave’s Foghat. Dees provides performed within a duo, the Bandeees, that he stocks along with his wife, Patricia Ann Dees, because the middle-’90s. Launching their debut record, They Take a flight Around, in 1998, they implemented it with WEDDING DAY a year afterwards. They reached their top with two amazing albums — Saffon and Three — in 2002. On the Songwriters Display of America, they received honours for Greatest Vocal Functionality From a Duo, Greatest Writing Group, and Greatest Vocal Group.
