Stephen Darlington is among Britain’s leading organists and choir conductors. In the first ’70s, he examined at Christ Cathedral, Oxford, under Simon Preston. He was associate organist at Canterbury Cathedral for four years, after that was appointed professional from the music at St. Albans Abbey, where he also offered as artistic movie director from the St. Albans Body organ Celebration. Since 1985, Darlington continues to be movie director of music at Christ Cathedral, Oxford. He was artist-in-residence on the College or university of Traditional western Australia in 1993 and spent some time working as a visitor conductor in Sydney, Perth, and Christchurch, New Zealand. He’s president from the Royal University of Organists.
