West Coastline singer/songwriter Stephen Ashbrook had usage of only two information we were young (Simon & Garfunkel’s Bridge More than Troubled Drinking water and Jesus Christ Superstar), both which were enticing more than enough to send the California local on the hunt to his neighborhood collection to expand his music horizons. Known for his wealthy baritone, simple falsetto, and penchant for open-road heartland folk-rock within the vein of Tom Petty, the Wallflowers, and Joe Henry, he released an EP, About YESTERDAY EVENING, in 1993, accompanied by a full-length eponymous studio room album along with his music group Satellite television in 1995. His single debut, the critically acclaimed Navigator, found its way to 1998, with Drive and American B-Sides, the last mentioned of which highlighted members from the Gin Blossoms, the Pistoleros, and Deceased Scorching Workshop, arriving in 2001 and 2002, respectively. Ashbrook relocated to Portland, Oregon following the arrival from the latter, launching his initial live collection, Increase Live @ Long Wong’s, in 2004, and Light Balloons, his 6th studio room record, in 2008.
