A former person in Brooklyn Funk Necessities, and a seasoned program vocalist that has collaborated with Tricky, Soulive, Talib Kweli, and Delicious chocolate Genius, Stephanie McKay debuted being a solo artist with 2003’s McKay — an album that included extensive the help of Portishead’s Geoff Barrow (aka Fuzzface) and Adrian Utley. Although record wasn’t released in the us, a few of its materials was included on a self-titled EP that surfaced on Astralwerks in 2006.
