Stavesacre

The hardcore CCM supergroup Stavesacre formed in 1995, with vocalist Tag Solomon (the Crucified, Local Child), guitarist Jeff Bellew (Crucified, Chatterbox), drummer Jeremy Moffat (the Blamed), and bassist Dirk Lemmenes. Large and leaning toward hardcore metallic and thrash, their initial sound had even more in keeping with Die Happy or Tourniquet. The group released their debut recording, Friction, in early 1996, adopted a year later on by Absolutes. For the reason that period, Scaterd Few drummer Sam Western had changed Moffat. Stavesacre came back in 1999 with Speakeasy with a fresh second guitarist, Ryan Dennee. Bellew remaining soon after to obtain married, therefore Stairwell guitarist Neil Samoy required his place. A series, aptly entitled Collective, summed up their period on Teeth & Toenail, chronicling their sluggish transition from rock to emo rock and roll. By enough time of the Nitro Information debut, (stavz’a’ker), the music group had completely transitioned into an emo music group. The group released two full-lengths soon thereafter: 2001’s Collective and 2002’s (stavz’a’ker).
