Like a handful of his City Centre Offices labelmates, Berlin’s Hanno Leichtmann (aka Static) creates warm, deceptively melodic tracks countered by glitchy components. For Eject YOUR BRAIN, an record released in early 2002, Leichtmann sought the providers of Ronald Lippok, of Tarwater also to Roccoco Rot popularity, and Justine Electra, a vocalist who added her abilities to Tarwater’s Pets, Suns, and Atoms. Before the album’s launch, Leichtmann experienced released singles for labels audio.nl and Mermaid (the second option imprint is portion of Jazzanova’s Sonar Kollektiv steady). Also, like a teaser for Eject YOUR BRAIN, CCO released the Earphones 7″, which considerably built expectation for the next full-length.
