Alongside close friends Evan Cranley (also of Big Rude Jake) and Amy Millan (who added to the soundtrack for the film Drowning Mona), the music group relocated to NEW YORK before time for Canada, this time around settling in Montreal. Their debut full-length, Nightsongs, premiered in early 2001 on Le Grand Magistery, using the Return EP following later on that same 12 months. The band’s mixture of pop and indie rock and roll made Celebrities a popular take action in Montreal, not forgetting an important area of the city’s burgeoning indie picture, and their achievement began growing into other metropolitan areas aswell. The ambitious Established Yourself burning followed 2 yrs later, and most of its paths had been creatively remixed with the band’s peers. Superstars released those remixed tracks on a fresh album, WOULD YOU Trust FRIENDS AND FAMILY?, in 2007. They also developed their very own label, Soft Trend, which released the band’s following studio recording, The Five Spirits, this year 2010. After shifting towards the ATO label, the group released their 6th recording, The North, in the summertime of 2012. They came back two years later on with No THE FIRST IS Lost.
