Biography
Ambient drone duo Superstars of the Cover was shaped in Austin, TX, by guitarists Brian McBride and Adam Wiltzie, the last mentioned also an associate of Windsor for the Derby along with the longtime soundman for Bedhead. Debuting in 1994 with Music for Nitrous Oxide, the duo came back the following season with Gravitational Draw vs. the Desire to have an Aquatic Lifestyle; putting your signature on to Kranky, Superstars of the Cover following resurfaced in 1997 using the epic The Ballasted Orchestra. 1998’s Per Aspera Advertisement Astra, a cooperation with painter Jon McCafferty, preceded the Sub Rosa discharge Avec Laudenum. Tired Noises of Stars from the Cover arrived in 2001, with And Their Refinement from the Decline pursuing in 2007. Both had been double CDs.
