Stanton Warriors

Stanton Warriors, a set of studio room engineers turned manufacturers and remixers, energized the Uk garage area picture with powerful, genre-spanning paths and hyperactive combine schedules. Dominic Butler and Tag Yardley fulfilled while working on the seminal garage area label Tuff Jam, Butler within the A&R section and Yardley being a studio room hand. Both had been natives from the southwest (Bristol and better Devon, respectively) and significantly sick of adding great function to other performers, therefore they pooled assets and recorded a set of singles (“EVERYTHING YOU Gonna Perform,” “Established”) fusing the independence and flair of 2-stage using the renegade cleverness of nu-breaks. Yardley and Dominic after that set their places on remixing, coping with presents from around (Cellar Jaxx, Missy Elliott, DJ Skribble, Azzido da Bass, Artful Dodger) and striking with another one, “Da Pathogen.” Agreed upon to XL in early 2001, Stanton Warriors released their full-length debut, The Stanton Periods, later that season. Successive volumes from the Stanton Sessions implemented in 2006 and 2008, offering collaborations with Twista, Big Daddy Kane, as well as the Beatnuts, in addition to SW remixes of Coburn and Yo Majesty, plus some personal favorites. The duo also blended the 30th level of the Fabriclive series.
