Stanislav Binicki

Biniîki studied at Belgrade and in addition caused Rheinberger on structure in Munich. He co-founded the Serbian College of Music and, performing The Belgrade Armed forces Orchestra as well as the Stankovic Choir, he presented Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony and Haydn’s =Creation= to Belgrade. Nearly all his compositions are theatrical, including many incidental parts and an opera. The opera, =Dawn= (1903), may be the initial Serbian nationwide opera and offers as its subject material the Serbian turmoil using the Turks possesses Serbian folk music, oriental melismas and augmented-interval scales.
