Despite fashioning an extremely commercial mixture of anthemic rock and roll and pop hooks, the Long Isle, NY, USA-based Stage spent many years wanting to translate their critical position into commercial achievement. The long-standing primary of the music group, Ryan Stahr (vocals/electric guitar/piano), Petr Anselmo (bass), and Greg Meyer (electric guitar), continues to be playing together in a single type or another since 1993, via senior high school rings. Even though drum placement was never really solidified, the music group still were able to build a local following off their displays. After issuing a debut record, Historical Underdosing, independently label, the music group found themselves getting opening slots for a few of rock and roll’s biggest brands, including Bon Jovi and Kiss. In 2000, Stage agreed upon a significant label recording agreement with Maverick Information, and discovered a long lasting drummer with Justin Parker, a youth friend of Stahr’s. Dealing with renowned rock and roll manufacturer Gregg Wattenberg, Stage released their self-titled main label debut in 2002.
