Stage Dolls

This melodic power-trio emerged from Trondheim, Norway. Created in 1983, the initial line-up comprised Torstein Flakne (vocals, electric guitar, ex-Kids), Terje Storli (bass) and Erlend Antonson (drums, ex-Subway Sect), the last mentioned eventually changed by Steinar Krokstad. Their three albums combine high-tech creation with beautifully crafted AOR, the music intensely infused with melody and an enthusiastic feeling of dynamics. ‘Like Cries’, raised as an individual off their self-titled 1988 record, became a US strike in 1989. On the effectiveness of this, they guaranteed the support slot machine games over the Blue Murder and Warrant USA travels the same calendar year, but didn’t build on the original momentum.
