Stacy & Komiko

Stacy & Komiko were the performing duo of Stacy Irvin and Komiko Whittaker. Before teaming up, the duo was area of the trio Sugars Babes with Patrice Lydia. The group documented for MCA Information and mid-charted R&B with “We Rock and roll the Defeat” in the springtime of 1987. Irvin and Whittaker created the duo Stacy & Komiko in 1990. Their self-titled MCA LP, Stacy & Komiko yielded the chugging, synth-funky “AWAIT Me,” that was created and made by Bryan Loren and visited quantity 36 R&B in Billboard in springtime 1990. Chuckii Booker created the propulsive “R U Obtainable” and “Arrive And OBTAIN IT.” Vincent Brantley (New Edition’s “Awesome It Right now”) published the loping, drifting “Solitary Girl,” that was made by Vahn Goh. The beautiful “Lover’s Heaven,” co-written by Karyn White and Steve Harvey and made by D’LaVance displays the duo’s softer part. David Allen Jones (Eddie Murphy’s How CAN IT BE) co-produces with Vahn Goh the mid-tempo ballad “Every Term.” Vahn Goh’s abilities shine more using the nice defeat ballad “I AM Waiting” as well as the somewhat assaulting “It Simply Ain’t Best,” compiled by Stacy & Komiko and Vincent Brantley.
