Stack Walton

b. Earl Walton, c.1910, USA, d. USA. A tenor saxophonist, Walton was the first choice of the Detroit, Michigan-based music group in 1930/1 that Milt Buckner was arranger. In 1940, Walton was head of the home band on the Congo Membership in Detroit. When he quit, his place was used by Wardell Grey and command was paid to Johnny Allen.
