Created in Newton, WV, Parsons started his gospel profession singing using the Calvary Males. In 1975 he became a member of The Kingsmen like a baritone, but remaining in 1979 to pursue a single career and it has since documented 25 Southern-gospel/MOR albums. Parsons earned six Singing Information Magazine awards, like the renowned Marvin Norcross Honor in 1990. “Lovely Beulah Property” was a #1 music on Southern gospel graphs in 1981.
