SpongeBozz

SpongeBozz is a comic alter ego of popular German rapper Sunlight Diego, where he dresses up seeing that childrens favourite SpongeBob Squarepants and performs aggressive fight raps. The type first made an appearance in 2013 being a competition on German on the web fight rap competition JuliensBlogBattle. SpongeBozz gained the competition, defeating out rapper 4tune, and came back the following calendar year, winning once again with a more elaborate video diss against rapper Gio. SpongeBozz’s identification continues to be officially kept top secret, but many listeners described commonalities between SpongeBozz’s rapping design and Sunlight Diego’s, and Sunlight Diego collaborator Kollegah verified the identification within an interview with German hip-hop newspaper Juice. SpongeBozz announced his pension from the fight rap scene using the announcement of debut full-length Planktonweed Tape. The record appeared in Apr of 2015, and instantly hit number 1 in Germany and Austria.
