Spoiler NYC

Following the lack of a good friend, Alan Robert — co-founder and bassist of Brooklyn metal-hardcore clothing Life of Agony — started composing songs while from tour which were neither steel nor hard rock and roll, but more clearly influenced by punk functions like Social Distortion, Rancid, as well as the Misfits. The music didn’t precisely fit with Existence of Agony’s plan, but Robert managed his writing privately with longtime friend and guitarist “Junkyard” Chris Silletti (a veterinarian of varied hardcore and punk functions), who’d been with LOA’s street team since 1993. Following the conclusion of a Western tour with Existence of Agony by the end of 2005, the close friends continued meeting as much as jam and finally gave the task a name: Spoiler NYC. Eventually finished by drummer Tommy Clayton (previously of pop-punkers Houston Phone calls), Spoiler NYC authorized with SOS Information in the springtime of 2007 and released their debut recording, Grease Open fire in Hell’s Kitchen, that June.
